Notes:
  • For the Adaptation Fund, the money raised from the monitezation of CERs is included under pledges. 
  • The amount under the Strategic Climate Fund is included in the PPCR, SREP and FIP, as these funds comprise the Strategic Climate Fund (SCF).  Therefore, the SCF itself is not included in the aggregate table.
  • Funds for the Strategic Priority on Adaptation (SPA) are sourced by the GEF Trust Fund. Therefore, the SPA itself is not included in the aggregate table.
  • The amount under the ETF-IW is not included here as the money donated by the UK under this fund is channelled through the World Bank Climate Investment Funds (CIFs), to the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) and to the Congo Basin Forest Fund (CBFF). Therefore the pledges and deposits are reflected in these three facilities.

  • Some of the money pledged and deposited to Australia’s IFCI feeds directly into the FIP and the FCPF funds. To be accurate, this money needs to be subtracted from the total aggregate figure for IFCI to avoid double counting.
