Fund size and spending

How much money has each fund been pledged, how much has it received and how much has it used?

Pledges: represent verbal or signed commitments from donors to provide financial support to a particular fund.
Deposits: represent the funds that have been transferred from the donor into the account(s) of the fund (also known as committed funds).
Approved: represent funds that have been officially approved and earmarked to a specific project or country programme.
Disbursed: represent those funds that have been released from the fund’s accounts or made available for access by the implementing agencies, with proof of documentation.

For the Adaptation Fund, the money raised from the monitezation of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) is included under pledges.
The amount under the Strategic Climate Fund is included in the PPCR, SREP and FIP, as these funds comprise the Strategic Climate Fund (SCF). Therefore, the SCF itself is not included in the aggregate table.
The amount under the ETF-IW is not included here as the money donated by the UK under this fund is channelled through the World Bank Climate Investment Funds (CIFs), to the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) and to the Congo Basin Forest Fund (CBFF). Therefore the pledges and deposits are reflected in these three facilities. However, the amount pledged to the UK's ICF is included here.
